BILLY OCEAN FOR KAMPALA CONCERT… ”INTERESTING REASON FOR HIS COMING”

Legendary RnB singer Billy Ocean will be in Kampala for a concert that is organised by Masters Music that is managed by comedian Alex Muhangi.
He will perform on Holy Thursday at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Fares to the concert are not yet announced.

Alex Muhangi says “We are pleased as Masters Music to bring this legend in Uganda and he will be in Africa for the first time,”
Billy Ocean was the most popular British R&B singer-songwriter of the early to mid-1980s. After scoring his first four UK Top 20 successes, several years passed before he accumulated a series of transatlantic successes, including three U.S. number ones such as “Suddenly”, “Going Gets Tough” and “There Be Sad Songs”.

In 1985, Ocean won the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his worldwide hit, "Caribbean Queen", and in 1987 was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Male.
